Cops hunt hit-and-run driver after Falkirk smash leaving disability car badly damaged

Police are on the hunt for a reckless driver after a hit-and-run in Larbert this morning, which has left a disability car badly damaged.

Officers were called to Paton Drive at around 11am after reports a van had hit a car and drove off.

No-one was injured.

It has since emerged the parked car is designed for a wheelchair user.

An investigation has started and anyone who witnessed the accident is being asked to call 101.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received report of a hit and run road crash on Paton Drive in Larbert around 11am on Tuesday, 2 March, 2021.

"A vehicle was struck by a vehicle which failed to stop after the crash. No-one was injured and enquiries are ongoing."
