Cops hunt driver after parked vehicle damaged in Grangemouth

Police in Grangemouth are the hunt for a driver who hit a car and failed to stop on a busy residential street over the weekend.

The incident is believed to happened on Strowan Road in the town between 6:15pm and 8pm on Saturday October, 30.

The vehicle struck a grey Mercedes A-Class leaving extensive damage to the driver side door.

An investigation has started and anyone who witnessed or heard the smash is being asked to contact officers on 101.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 8.10pm on Saturday 30 October, to a report a parked car had been damaged on Strowan Road, Grangemouth.

"Enquiries are continuing."
