Cops hunt dangerous dirt bike rider in East Kilbride for reckless driving

Cops are hunting for a dirt bike rider in East Kilbride who has been driving dangerously.

The East Kilbride Local Problem Solving Team say they have received "numerous complaints" regarding an off-road dirt bike in the Greenhills area.

The Lanarkshire Police Division state it is being "driven at speed" and "dangerously" on footpaths "at all times of day narrowly missing children who are out playing."

They have called for the public to report the owner/rider of this dirt bike which is described as having orange mud guards and the rider has a white helmet with a green stripe.

A spokesperson said: "If anyone has any information to assist with this enquiry please contact PC Elliott or O'Connor at East Kilbride Police Office via 101 or alternatively, please call Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be provided anonymously."
