Police are hunting a thug who brutally stabbed a man in a Glasgow street last night.
The 41-year-old was rushed to the city's Royal Infirmary after being found injured close to the rear of the Garngad pub on Royston Road.
Detective Alistair Donaldson from Maryhill CID has appealed for information that could help identify the culprit responsible.
He said: “We are still trying to establish the motive and exact circumstances surrounding this incident and are reviewing CCTV in the area.
“Anyone who was in the area of Royston Road around 9.45pm last night and may have witnessed a disturbance of some sort is asked to contact police immediately.”
