A man and woman have been taken to hospital after serious assault in Glasgow this morning.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to Tollcross Road at around 9.45am following the incident.
A man fled the scene and as a result cops are searching properties on Baldovan Crescent and Bartiebeith Road in the Easterhouse area of the city.
The probe into the attack is still ongoing as cops hunt the man.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman: "Officers are searching properties in Baldovan Crescent and Bartiebeith Road in Easterhouse after a man fled the scene of a serious assault on Tollcross Road at 9.45am this morning.
"A man and woman have been taken to hospital.
"The investigation is still ongoing."
