Scots teen who sparked frantic search after vanishing from Paisley park found 'safe and well'

Police are growing increasingly concerned for a missing Scots teen who was last seen in a park.

Stephanie Murdoch, 14, hasn't been seen since around 5:30pm on Tuesday, January 11.

The schoolgirl was last spotted in the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley.

Police say they have 'growing concerns' for the teen 'as time goes on' and have launched an urgent appeal for information.

Stephanie is described as white Scottish ethnicity, five foot three inches, slim build, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, a black body warmer, black leggings and black trainers.

Police Constable Gardner from Paisley Police Station said: "We have growing concerns for Stephanie and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"Anyone who may have seen Stephanie or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0124 of 12/01/2022."
