Cops desperately search for missing Scots teen amid growing concern for her welfare

Cops have launched a desperate search for missing 16-year-old girl amid concern for her welfare.

Abbie Dawson disappeared from the Turriff area on, in Aberdeenshire, Saturday night, August 7.

It's understood the teen was last seen at an address in Delgaty Terrace in the late evening.

Abbie has not been seen since and police say there are growing concerns for her welfare.

She is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, slim build, with dark, shoulder-length bobbed hair.

The 16-year-old was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who may have seen Abbie since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3576 of the 8th of August.
