Cops descend on Glasgow street after reports of 'stabbing'

Cops have descended on a Glasgow street tonight after reports of a 'stabbing'.

A huge police presence was spotted at Hutton Drive in the Govan area of the city earlier tonight.

Ambulances, cop cars and police vans crammed onto the small street as they entered a tenement building.

A specialist police dog unit also was called to the scene in the pictures which were shared at around 7pm.

One picture shows ten officers, some in masks and gloves, outside a block of flats on the street waiting to enter.

At one point three ambulances were gathered on the street.

Online people have said someone was stabbed.

@Broony_8 tweeted: "Stabbing on Hutton drive in Govan just now! Police everywhere."

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
