Cops have confirmed a lane in Glasgow was cordoned off yesterday following reports of an assault on a teenage girl.
We told how officers were in attendance at the scene on Clyde Place in Tradeston on Sunday night.
Police Scotland have now confirmed they were investigating reports of a "possible assault on a teenage girl".
The alleged incident is said to have happened on Saturday March 5 - before being reported to cops at around 12.10am on Sunday.
Officers were seen taping off an area next to Babylon Cafe on the street as part of their probe into the alleged assault.
Their enquiries into the full circumstances remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating reports of a possible assault on a teenage girl on Clyde Place, Glasgow, on Saturday, March 5.
"It was reported to police around 12.10am on Sunday, March 6.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
