Police have closed a stretch of busy road after a car ploughed into a fence this morning.
Stanely Road at Coresbar Drive in Paisley is shut to motorists as traffic cops collect evidence from the scene of the smash.
A dark coloured VW Golf estate appears to have struck a wooden post leaving the front of the car badly damaged.
Officers taped off the area and one was spotted placing a dashcam into an evidence bag.
There are also reports that a Police Scotland helicopter was circling the area.
It is not known if there are any injuries at this time.
