Renfrewshire police launch appeal for information after woman assaulted in Paisley.

The force is asking members of the public to come forward who may have observed an assault on a woman in the Foxbar area of Paisley last weekend.

The incident involved a 23-year-old female and the unidentified male driver of a white van and happened between 2pm and 3.45pm on Sunday, November 21.

The exact location is unconfirmed but the woman was walking between Foxbar and Linwood.

The woman was uninjured following the incident and the man left the scene in his van.

Detective Constable Lauren McGill said: “Our enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and we are seeking assistance from the public to help with our investigation.

“If you saw a disturbance involving a male and a female who has shoulder length blonde hair and was wearing a knee length beige coloured body warmer, black top, black leggings and red trainers, then please get in touch.
