Cops arrest teen after girl, 17, raped in Glasgow city centre

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 17-year-old girl in a lane.

The girl was allegedly attacked in Renfrew Lane in Glasgow city centre on Friday evening.

The incident was reported to police on Monday.

Police Scotland said a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The force said inquiries are continuing.
