Cops arrest man after knife attack at Glasgow McDonald's

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an early-morning raid at a Glasgow McDonald's.

At around 4am on December 6 a man terrorised staff at the Springburn store with a knife.

The thug seized a two-figure sum of cash before fleeing the restaurant on a bike.

Police raced to the scene and taped the fast food joint off as they launched an investigation.

Cops probing the terrifying raid confirmed that a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson from Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "We can confirm that a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at McDonald’s in Springburn, Glasgow."
