Forth Valley police appeal for information after man exposes himself to girls

A man exposed himself to teenage girls in two incidents in Forth Valley at the weekend.

Both incidents occurred on rural roads on Saturday, March 27.

On both occasions a man got out of a dark-coloured car and exposed himself to teenage girls.

The first incident took place around 3.15pm in Doune when a 14-year-old girl was walking along Argaty Road.

The girl was disturbed by the incident and made her way home and the matter was reported to police

The second incident occurred in Myothill Road in Denny around 6.50pm.

Two 14-year old girls had been walking along the road, when they walked towards a car parked in a layby.

As the girls passed, a man got out the car and exposed himself. The incident has left the girls very upset.

Officers attended both incidents and extensive searches of the areas were carried out.

On each occasion the male perpetrator was seen to be driving a black or grey Mercedes or similar type vehicle, possibly an Audi.

Detective Inspector Rob Andrews said: “I know these incidents will be a cause of concern for our local communities but I would like to reassure members of the public that we are working hard to establish the identity of the perpetrator.

“Despite these incidents occurring in semi-rural areas, we will be checking CCTV footage out with these locations for any further information on the car.

“If anyone has any information or knowledge about these incidents please contact us. Even the smallest piece of information could prove vital in our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident numbers 2492 and 3386 of 27 March 2021.

Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.
