Cops appeal for info after teen boy struck on leg by passing car

Police in Dundee are appealing for information after a teenager had their leg clipped by a passing car.

The incident occurred at around 4.20pm on Wednesday November 17, on the city's Claverhouse Road.

The 15-year-old boy was struck on the leg by a blue car of unknown make.

At the time, the vehicle was travelling west on the street, away from the direction of the nearby Forfar Road junction.

It is not known if the driver stopped following the collision. The boy was not seriously injured.

However, Police Scotland has issued an appeal for further information on the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "At about 4:20pm, Wed 17th November, a 15 year old boy was struck on the leg by a blue car travelling west on Claverhouse Rd, Dundee, near the junction with Forfar Rd.

"Fortunately he wasn't badly hurt.

"If you have any information please call 101, quoting the incident reference 2298 of 17th November."
