Cops appeal for help to find missing man last seen wearing Rangers top in Fife

Cops are appealing for help from the public to trace a high risk man missing since yesterday.

Keith MacGregor, from Rosyth, was last seen in Overton Mains, Kirkcaldy, at around 3pm on Thursday,  July 16.

Officers from Police Scotland believe the 35-year-old has been in the town's Heathery Wood and have conducted a search of the area.

Keith is described as white, 6 ft 1 in height with a skinny build and cropped strawberry blond hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing an orange Rangers FC top, a rain jacket, denim jeans, Adidas trainers and was carrying a black Puma rucksack.

Sergeant Chris McGlinchey, from Dalgety Bay Police Station, said: "We believe that Keith may have been in a wooded area of Heathery Wood, Kirkcaldy, yesterday or today.

"Officers have been searching the area as well as checking with family and friends, however, unfortunately, no one has seen or heard from him since yesterday afternoon.

"We are keen to trace Keith to make sure he is safe and well and would appeal to members of the public to look out for him. We are liaising with colleagues at British Transport Police as well as working with local bus, train and taxi companies.

"We'd also ask Keith himself to get in touch with us so that we can make sure he is ok."

If you have seen Keith, or have any information about where he may be, call officers at Dalgety Bay Police Station via 101 and quote reference number 0681 of Friday, 17 July, 2020.
