Cops appeal for help to find missing East Kilbride woman

Police are appealing for help to trace a young East Kilbride woman who has been missing for four days.

Billie Mia French Mullen was seen leaving her home in Jervis Terrace, Westwood, at around 9pm on Saturday and has not been in contact with friends or family since.

The 29-year-old was reported missing on Monday.

She was spotted on CCTV in Glasgow City Centre around 12pm on Sunday.

She was also captured boarding a Number 60 bus in Parkhead, travelling to the Drumchapel area, around 4.30pm the same day.

Billie is described as 5ft7, of slim build, with blue eyes and dyed blonde hair. She was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a light blue denim top and carrying a black handbag. She also had her hair tied back in a ponytail.

Inspector Calum Maider, from East Kilbride Police Station, said: "Billie’s family and friends are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and it is important that we trace her as soon as possible.

"Billie is known to spend time in the Glasgow area and I would urge anyone who may have seen her, or has any knowledge of her whereabouts, to please let us know.

"I would also appeal directly to Billie to get in touch with someone to let them know that she is safe and well.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact East Kilbride Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3120 of Monday 3 June 2019.”
