Cops appeal for driver as man rushed to hospital after being hit by car on Scots road

Cops are appealing for the driver of a car involved in an incident which saw a man was rushed to hospital after being hit by car on a Scots road

Emergency services were scrambled to Perth's Strathtay Road, near to Langside Road, at around 7.10pm on Friday, 11 February 11.

A 26-year-old man had been crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle - the make and model of is not known.

The man was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver of the vehicle who stopped at the scene.

Police have now launched an urgent appeal for information after a man was hit by a car in Perth.

Constable Kevin lynch said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has dashcam footage to come forward.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 3221 of 11 February, 2022.
