Cops and paramedics race to two-vehicle smash on Fife road

Emergency services are responding to a two vehicle road crash in Fife today.

Officers from Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the accident on the Hatchback road between Kelty and Kinross at around 9.25am.

Locals living in the area reported seeing two fire appliances heading for the scene earlier today.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the accident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Daily Record: “Around 9.25am on Tuesday, 26 January, we received the report of a two vehicle crash on Hatchbank Road between Kelty and Kinross.

“Police and Scottish Ambulance Service attended.

“Uplift of the vehicles has been arranged.”
