Cops and paramedics race to Edinburgh park amid 'ongoing incident'

Police have been called to a popular Edinburgh park following an incident on Saturday afternoon.

Onlookers spotted several emergency service vehicles parked at Saughton Park, in the Balgreen area of the city shortly after 2.30pm.

Pictures posted on social media show an ambulance and at least four marked police cars in attendance outside the park.

The nature of the incident is not currently known.
