Copenhagen's eye-watering Celtic odds revealed as Danish bookie paints bleak Europa League picture

Pessimistic Danish bookmakers reckon Copenhagen have next to no chance of dumping Celtic out of the Europa League .

The pair are set to do battle on Thursday in Glasgow after last week's 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Copenhagen were left cursing Fraser Forster's late penalty save but it was the Premiership champions who dominated for long spells in the Danish capital.

Keeper Karl-Johan Johnsson was excellent and thwarted Celtic marksmen Odsonne Edouard with a trio of impressive saves.

And Scandinavian bettors have no confidence in Stale Solbakken's side with punters being offered a remarkable 9/1 for Copenhagen to win inside 90 minutes.

Dankse Spil's Peter Emmike, speaking ahead of Thursday's clash, said: "Copenhagen will have a hard time in Scotland.

" Celtic loses very rarely at home and we saw especially in the first half of the first game in the Park that FCK have difficulty keeping up with the Scots at their pace.

"That's why Celtic is also clearly the favorite to win the match and advance in the tournament."

The draw is available at 4/1 inside 90 minutes and the odds in Denmark prove there is little faith of a result after Copenhagen's stuttering run after their winter break.

A host of British bookies' have them at 6/1 to win on the night but there's less belief back home of a rousing Parkhead away win.

Meanwhile, former Celtic star Erik Sviatchenko has sent a warning to his compatriots ahead of their visit to his former team.

He told Tipsbladet : "It will be something completely different when they come to 'Paradise', as Celtic fans call it.

"It gets intense and they will get an experience."
