An FC Copenhagen footballer has been arrested in connection with an assault on a police officer during Celtic's defeat at Parkhead last night.
Striker Michael Santos was arrested for allegedly attacking a cop in an altercation as his side celebrated their second goal.
Santos and a member of the Copenhagen staff have been charged with being involved in the alleged scrap.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Two men aged 42 and 26 were charged in connection with an alleged assault at Celtic Park last night.
"They have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal."
Eight fans were also arrested last night including two away fans and six home supporters.
This was for alleged minor disorders.
