In the biggest game in South American football the reigning champions River Plate take on, arguably, the best team of the tournament in Flamengo.
After last year's remarkable two-legged final, which had multiple postponements and stretched across two continents, it is a one-off winner-takes-all game for the first time.
River narrowly eliminated rival Boca Juniors in the semi-finals, the same adversary they beat in 2018's final. Flamengo crushed local adversary Gremio 6-1 on aggregate, including a 5-0 thrashing at the Maracana.
Both teams enjoy keeping possession and are keen to attack. Marcelo Gallardo will use his traditional 4-4-2 tactics, while Flamengo's Jorge Jesus will use a 4-1-3-2.
The venue is the Estadio Monumental in Lima, Peru, with the winner going into the semi-finals of December's Club World Cup and could face Liverpool in the final.
