Brazil started the tournament with a strong 3-0 win against Bolivia at the Morumbi, although the team’s performance left a lot to be desired facing the worst nation in the group. Philippe Coutinho’s two goals were the most encouraging aspect of Friday’s win, so the hope is that the Barcelona man can carry his form into the next match. He needs help, however, and players like Roberto Firmino and Richarlison must step up in what will be a tougher match in Matchday 2.
Venezuela played a solid defensive game against Peru on Saturday, and they are not scared of Brazil coming into this one. They think they can do the same. The Seleção has had trouble in the past against big, physical strikers like Salomón Rondón, so the Vinotinto can definitely cause a lot of problems on Tuesday night.
