Copa America Centenario soccer tournament is already selling well on the secondary-ticket market

May 13--The Copa America Centenario soccer tournament won't kick off for another three weeks, but it's already the top-selling summer sports event on the secondary-ticket market, according to StubHub.

And most of that action is based in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The best-selling game, says StubHub, is the June 3 tournament opener between the United States and Colombia at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. That's also the site of the second-most-popular summer sporting event, the June 6 game between Argentina and Chile.

Two Rose Bowl games are also selling well: the June 9 game between Mexico and Jamaica and the June 4 game between Brazil and Ecuador.

Pasadena will also play host to Colombia and Paraguay, who will meet there June 7.

Tournament organizers say they expect the three Rose Bowl games to draw a combined crowd of 180,000.

The Copa America Centenario, the 100th anniversary edition of the South America championships, will be played in 10 cities across the United States from June 3-26. The 16-team field features 10 South American countries as well as the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica.

This summer marks the first time the world's oldest international soccer competition will be staged in the United States.
