Around a dozen protesters have interrupted a COP26 side event being held by an Italian oil giant.
The groups Glasgow Calls Out Polluters and Fridays For Future Italia disrupted the event which was hosted by Eni.
During the protest one member of the group read out a statement from a climate justice group in Mozambique called, JA! Justiça Ambiental Moçambique.
The group has hit out at Eni for "creating a war zone" in the African country due to some of its activities.
One member tweeted: "No more lies! Activists disrupt @eni event during #COP26 in solidarity with communities in Cabo Delgado where the Italian oil + gas giant is displacing communities and creating a war zone.
"They tried to claim they were climate leader."
While, Glasgow Calls Out Polluters tweeted: "With @fffitalia, we’re disrupting an event by Italian oil giant Eni.
"We’re calling out their climate lies and reading a statement from @ja4change from Mozambique."
It comes as world leaders sit down for a second day of discussions about how to reduce carbon emissions around the globe.
Yesterday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a hammer blow to the conference by announcing his country would only reach net zero by 2070 - two decades after the summit's goal.
He demanded developed countries makes one trillion US dollars available in climate finance "as soon as possible today".
"I am sure that the decisions taken in Glasgow will safeguard the future of generations to come and give them a safe and prosperous life," he added.
Modi added his country represents 17 per cent of the world's population but is responsible for "only 5 of global emissions".
