COP26 climate change survey: Would you go vegan and give up your car to help the planet?

This week, world leaders meet at COP26 - a UN climate change conference - to discuss the next set of measures that need to be introduced to combat climate change.

Two years on from Greta Thunberg’s headline-making speech where she directly pointed the finger at world leaders for creating a perilous future for her and her generation, the issue remains unsolved and scarily imminent.

This year, Greta has once again attended the summit, along with David Attenborough and Prince Charles, to stand up in front of the world leaders and plea for urgent climate action.

Would you support a tax on red meat? Let us know in our survey below

Ultimately, the objectives have been boiled down to one numerative goal - to keep warming limited to 1.5C, or at worst 2C, by 2100 but currently, we have forecasted a temperature rise of 2.7C, which the UN says would result in "climate catastrophe".

Whilst pressure mounts for governments to respond swiftly, there are many individual remedies being proposed in what would be a collective fight against climate change.

Reducing your car usage and switching to public transport, moving to a completely meat-free diet or at least introducing tax to red meat purchases and deterring people from using single-use plastics with similar tax regulations.

Are these initiatives you would support? Let us know in our survey below that asks you what measures you would take to help battle climate change.
