Cooper Kupp cleared for camp, won’t be placed on PUP list

The Los Angeles Rams missed Cooper Kupp last season after he suffered a torn ACL, but he’ll be back at full strength in 2019. The team announced on Tuesday that Kupp has been cleared and will not begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

The news was first reported by Steve Wyche of NFL Network.

Kupp will have his workload limited early on as he continues his road to recovery. Considering his torn ACL happened in November, he’s well ahead of schedule.

He was on the field for OTAs and minicamp, though in a limited capacity. He participated in team drills at half-speed and worked on the side individually.
