Aaron Pilgrim - Impression Sunrise: I love Impressionist painting. I am a fan of Rolf Harris. I did this picture with a view to learn how to hold a mixing palette in my arm while painting. My teacher, Rossen, told me how to do this techniquePhotograph: CoolTanAaron Pilgrim - Pablo Picasso Pastiche: This picture was banned from a CoolTan Arts’ art exhibition at Oxford House in east London in 2011. There is a copy of a real Picasso in top right hand corner. My teacher, Michael Fox, gave me the idea to do a nudePhotograph: CoolTanAlusine Sumah - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTan
Besion Sokali - Smiley Face: This picture represents me when I’m happy with smiley face, especially when I think about my family back in my homeland. The wonderful thing I remember when I drew the picture is when I asked my teacher if she liked it or not, she replied: “It looks lovely” and “Is that you?” and I just replied: “It’s the sun with a smiley face!"Photograph: CoolTanBilly Weston - Connecting Lines: In this picture I connected the lines together to create form. It was a one-off sketch. I did not think about it. It was done on the spur of the momentPhotograph: CoolTanDebbie Francis - Wild Fire Horses: I have loved horses ever since I can remember, especially stallions as I feel that they have a certain kind of free spirit. I feel that this painting of Wild Fire Horses reflects that spirit; unable to be tamed and wild with passions, racing with the windPhotograph: CoolTanEse - Collage: I take my inspiration of art and design from everyday objects or things and interpret them using a range of different mediums from paint to collagePhotograph: CoolTanEse - Tea For TwoPhotograph: CoolTanGraeme Newton - The Green CabinPhotograph: CoolTanGraeme Newton - The Three WebPhotograph: CoolTanGraeme Newton - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTanGraeme Newton - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTanJohn Raithby - A Window on LifePhotograph: CoolTanKaron Carter - Study of Light and Dark 2: I drew this from a picture I saw when I went on a trip with CoolTan Arts to Dulwich Picture GalleryPhotograph: CoolTanMarjorie McLean - Painted LadyPhotograph: CoolTanSimon Heys - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTanTim Jerram - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTanTim Jerram - Untitled 2Photograph: CoolTanWilliam Ball - UntitledPhotograph: CoolTan
