Coolock's MD Fitness make lovely gesture to show their appreciation for healthcare workers and carers

A gym in North Dublin has made a big-hearted gesture to their local healthcare workers by offering them free use of their facility when it's safe to reopen.

MD Fitness in Coolock have put out the amazing offer to all staff from Beaumont Hospital as well as any carers who have a HSE ID card.

Like everyone else, the business has shut its doors while the government measures are in place - but the big-hearted offer is on the table from the second they're allowed to open again.

They said: "In these worrying times MDfitness Coolock would just like to say thank you to all the hospital and care home staff across our country but especially to the staff in Beaumont Hospital and local care homes that are doing an amazing job looking after our most vulnerable loved ones.

"To show our appreciation we want to let all staff from our local Beaumont Hospital and carers that hold a HSE ID card to train in MDfitness Centre and in our Bootcamp classes for free after the lockdown is lifted for the remainder of the year.

"With you looking after the health and wellbeing of the country durning these times the least we can do is return the favour by looking after your personal health and fitness.

"Heros don’t all wear capes."
