Cool stay of the week: a sprawling manor in North Yorkshire

Nestled in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside, The Manor House is a Grade II-listed, 16th Century building which has been restored and fitted with modern interiors.

The sprawling manor can sleep up to 16 guests but comfortably sleeps 12 with its six double bedrooms spread throughout.

The kitchen is modern and airy and the dining room can seat up to 12 guests, as can the al fresco dining table in the courtyard outside.

Inside, guests can lounge about in the drawing room and entertaining room – the latter fitted with a snooker table that can also be used for table tennis.

The conservatory features a large sofa, armchairs, wood burning stove and television to create a space to completely unwind and from here you can open the French doors to reveal the stunning walled garden, complete with a barbecue and croquet lawn.
