COOKS Hill specialist family law firm Yeend and Associates has been bought by Chamberlains Law Firm.
The acquisition means family law is now a part of Chamberlains' full-service offer, along with an additional office in Newcastle, adding to its offices in Sydney and Canberra.
The deal will see the expansion of Chamberlains insurance, family law and insolvency services and is one of several acquisitions made by Chamberlain in the past two years through the integration of Shaw McDonald Lawyers (Sydney) and Backhouse Legal (Canberra).
Chamberlains managing director Stipe Vuleta said said Yeend and Associates had "a natural synergy" with Chamberlains private wealth and property offerings amongst others.
The firm has 46 staff across its three offices.
Gillian Yeend, director of Yeend & Associates said her firm had always prioritised offering constructive and commercial solutions for its family law clients.
