Harry Judd has shown that he is a novice in the kitchen by turning ITV's Cooking With The Stars in to a 'bloodbath'.
The 35-year-old McFly star was showing off his knife skills as he went head-to-head with comedian Johnny Vegas in a bid to wow the judges with his culinary skills.
Unfortunately for Harry, within two minutes of starting the challenge, he was spilling claret all over the studio floor but there wasn't a vintage wine in sight.
Harry was peeling a potato when he got his aim wrong and took a chunk out of his finger as he sliced off the tip.
His side of the kitchen set was soon looking like a slasher horror movie as blood was all over the floor and worktop, as medics rushed to his aid to bandage up his sore hand.
Seeing the funny side of it, Harry laughed: “There was so much blood!”
Harry was trying to prepare gingerbread lamb chops, and he said after filming the show: "It wasn’t pretty.
"I had to wear a plastic glove for the rest of the cook off, and when I took it off, it was filled with blood. It wasn’t my only injury throughout the series either!”
Viewers were quick to react to the bloodshed, as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One viewer tweeted: "I thought I was was watching a bloody TV Drama, when Harry was bleeding out #CookingWithTheStars "
While another exclaimed: "Oh god. That looks NASTY. #CookingWithTheStars "
One McFly fan was worried about Harry, writing: "can’t believe @mcflyharry sliced a chunk out of his finger so early on hope your finger is okay now Harry #CookingWithTheStars "
There was not so much elsewhere though, with one viewer tweeting that Harry only had himself to blame.
They tweeted: "Look who nonchalant Harry cut his spuds, no wonder he cut himself. If you are not paying attention, you're not doing it right! #cookingwiththestars "
The new ITV cooking show is hosted by Emma Willis and comic Tom Allen, and sees eight celebrities vying to show their cooking expertise.
Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, actor Johnny Vegas, Beyonce producer Naughty Boy and Denise Van Outen are each paired with a professional chef to learn kitchen skills. They then take part in a series of duels and cook-offs to decide who is the winner.
Asked what cooking skills Harry took to the show, he laughs: “Absolutely nothing.
“The microwave was my best friend in the kitchen, and I could just about make toast.
“I just wanted to do something fun, to put a smile back on peoples’ faces. And my wife Izzy is certainly pleased, as it means I’m definitely doing more cooking at home now.”
