With schools closed until at least April 19th, parents around the country are wondering what to do with bored children around the house. While Netflix makes a decent temporary babysitter, screentime has its limits even for the most square-eyed of kids.
That's why we've teamed up with Kids Cook, a cookery school for children based in Clonee. "For 6 years now we have been teaching children how to cook an extensive range of recipes and learn many skills with great success!" Says co-founder Lisa Halpenny. "We are delighted to share some of these recipes we think you will enjoy and have fun doing at home with the kids.
"Please tag us on our Facebook or Instagram page or send a photo of what you have made, we really miss seeing the children and hearing about what they are cooking at home! If there is anything in particular you would like us to share please let us know."

Each Friday, we'll bring you something sweet and something savoury that the whole family can be a part of. This week: homemade chicken goujons and chips and yummy orange and seed muffins!
If you're tackling either of these with the kids, share your progress by tagging the Kids Cook Facebook or Instagram page - and make sure to follow them for more great, child-friendly recipe ideas.
