On the Web, traffic breeds links breeds traffic. Just ask Cooking for Engineers, which rapidly went from 20-40 hits a day to 12,000 per hour. Apart from that, yes, it does offer illustrated recipes. Really.
However, I have to say that this site looks a lot more like the sort of cooking real engineers do.
