Cookie dough Munchies have landed - here’s where to get them

Nestlé Munchies have become the gift that keeps on giving this summer with the launch of another new flavour.

Earlier in the week, discount chain Poundland announced it is now stocking chocolate fudge brownie flavoured Munchies.

And now Tesco has revealed it will be the only UK supermarket to stock the brand-new cookie dough variant.

Each 101g bag of the tasty treat currently costs £1.50 on Tesco’s website and in stores (price valid until August 28).

The first new Munchies products since 1996, both new flavours have been created at Nestlé’s confectionery sites in York and Fawdon, Newcastle, and will contain buttery biscuit shortbread alongside either a cookie dough or chocolate fudge brownie ganache.

While Poundland unveiled the news of the new chocolate fudge brownie flavour, the 101g packs will in fact be sold at all major retailers across the UK, but the cookie dough bags are exclusive to Tesco, Booker and One Stop Stores.

The new chocolate fudge brownie and cookie dough were launched following research for what the most preferred flavours for a new variant of Munchies would be.

And it was pretty quick from there on, with the flavour innovations taking just six months from concept to market thanks to the expertise and creativity of the chocolatiers at Nestlé’s Fawdon factory in Newcastle.
