Convicted stalker 'wanted on recall to prison by police

A convicted stalker who faces a return to prison is being hunted by police.

Greater Manchester Police said Jake Cloake has breached the terms of his release from prison on licence.

Cloake, 30, was jailed in January for stalking, the force said.

GMP said he was released a month later in February.

Police said he has since breached the terms of his release from prison on license and was now wanted 'on recall to prison'.

Cloake is known to have links to Wythenshawe and south Manchester.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a man from the Wythenshawe area who is wanted on recall to prison.

"Jake Cloake, 30, was released from prison in February 2021 after being jailed in January 2021 for stalking.

"He has since breached the terms of his license and is now wanted on recall to prison.

"Cloake is known to have links to Wythenshawe and the south Manchester area."

The force issued an appeal for witnesses.

An image of Cloake has also been shared on the force's social media channels.

No other detail about his conviction has been released.
