A convicted killer has been caged again following a horror street chase in Paisley.
William Cameron, 36, was banged up in prison after he pursued a man with a brick in the town’s Foxbar area.
Cameron appeared from custody at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday for sentencing after admitting the charge.

The court heard Cameron, who suffers from health difficulties linked to his long-term abuse of drugs, had hounded his victim along Orchy Crescent while shouting and bawling threats.
The thug was later arrested by cops after wielding the brick during the foot chase, which took place on March 18, last year.
Defence agent Mark Chambers told how his client had been expected to face sentencing at a hearing earlier this month, but had fled the court before his case was called.
He said: “He knew the terms of the report were not positive and his nerves got the better of him and he panicked and got up and left.
“He very much regrets leaving before the case was called.”
The court heard sentencing had been deferred for Cameron to be of good behaviour after he pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in an abusive and threatening manner by shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and pursuing a man while in possession of a brick.
Mr Chambers added his client dreaded another spell behind bars and had been working with Renfrewshire Drugs Service, the local authority and the Richmond Trust, in attempting to turn his life around.
Sheriff Tom McCartney, who studied background reports before ruling, told him: “When I deferred sentencing in respect of this matter, I refrained from imposing a prison sentence.
“That was because of information provided to me about your own personal circumstances, and support available to you.
“I deferred sentence for a period and made it clear to you if there were further offending a prison sentence would be almost certain.
“Despite that, you have committed further offences.
“Therefore, given the nature of the offence and your previous convictions, there is no other appropriate sentence than a prison sentence today.”
He jailed Cameron for nine months, reduced from 12 months because of his guilty plea.
Cameron was caged for seven years at the High Court in Glasgow in July 2012 after killing his father Alexander following a row over how he had treated his mother.
He struck his father 19 times with broken bottles during a drunken argument at a house in the town’s Tannahill Road.
He changed out of his clothes and went to a friend’s house where he said: “I think I have just killed my father.”
Cameron was originally charged with murder but later admitted the culpable homicide of his father.
