Conveyancing specialist rejoins law firm's Derby team as an associate

East Midlands law firm Nelsons has strengthened its Derby conveyancing team with the appointment of a new associate.

Rachel Bushell, who brings 15 years of experience in residential conveyancing to the position, specialises in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, unregistered property, shared ownership, re-mortgages, help to buy equity schemes and transfers of equity.

Having previously worked for Nelsons over the course of her career, Rachel said: "It was an easy decision to come back to Nelsons and familiar surroundings.

"The firm continues to hold a strong reputation, particularly when it comes to taking great care of its staff and clients."

In September last year, Nelsons’ conveyancing department was named Regional Conveyancing Firm of the Year in the East Midlands at the national LFS Conveyancing Awards and also took home the second place silver award for Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year.

Rachel said: "I’m very excited to re-join the team after such a successful year and look forward to playing a part in helping the department achieve its goals and – hopefully – win more awards."

Chris Huntingford, head of Nelsons’ residential conveyancing department, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Rachel back to the team in Derby.

"Her experience and expertise in the complex areas of conveyancing make her an incredibly valuable asset for our team."
