Converted steading home less than half an hour from Glasgow’s city centre hits the market

A beautiful three bedroom family home near Glasgow has joined the market, offering modern living in a semi-rural location.

Forming part of a steading development converted in 2010, the home spans across 1,593 square feet. Boasting immaculate stone construction, the property holds three bedrooms, a lounge, dining room and kitchen area as well as three bathrooms.

With a dedicated utility room and plenty of storage, it could be the perfect family or starter home. Property agents Rettie & Co have set up a 360 degree immersive tour, as well as HY video footage to allow interested parties to see the home.

Describing the home, Rettie & Co added: “A fabulous home that forms part of the successful ‘Carlston Steadings’ development on the outskirts of Torrance.

“This three-bedroomed property is immaculately finished and will offer a quite special solution to the demands of modern living for a variety of different buying profiles - perfect for families and couples in equal measure.”

Entry to the home is made through a large welcoming reception hall, leading into a large lounge/dining area. On the first floor is also a sitting room and an additional smaller fourth bedroom.

Upstairs sits the three larger bedrooms, with two shower rooms and a master en-suite.

The property sits in an area east of Bearsden, west of Kirkintilloch and to the north of Bishopbriggs. Commuting into the city centre is easily done through the M80, and thereafter the M8 and A803.

Torrance itself has a general store and a couple of village pubs, with major amenities found in the nearby towns. You can find out more about the property and book a viewing here.
