Converse finally launches a waterproof collection with Mountain Club range

The chances are your wardrobe wouldn't be complete without a pair of Converse.

The one downside to your All Stars, though? That they aren't waterproof.

From the constant dodging of puddles to guaranteed cold feet, devoted fans of the classic kicks will know the struggle that comes with wearing them in winter.

The footwear brand has now finally answered your footwear prayers, creating a new Mountain Club capsule collection that will keep your feet toasty warm and dry, whatever the weather.

Using Gore-Tex technology, the new versions of your favourite Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star and Fastbreak are stylish, functional and, most importantly, waterproof.

The new sturdy styles were inspired by the brand's Extreme Cold Weather Boot, a resistant rubber shoe that was designed for the military in the 1950s.

The waterproof collection is unisex (Converse)

The five unisex black and white designs are each coated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR) and come with a trendy Off-White-inspired aesthetic. Phrases such as "keep double laced" and "fold gusset this side only" are written on the shoes.

Finally, we can now keep our feet trendy and dry this winter.

The waterproof collection will be available on buy online and in store on November 8.
