BBC viewers were already "hooked" and ready for the next episode. All episodes are already available on BBC iPlayer.

Sadly, Dubliners might have to wait a little longer to follow the forbidden romance.

The 12-part series is launching on RTE on Wednesday and is set to get the country talking.

Here's what people are saying so far:

"Ok conversation with friends is meeting all expectations I’m OBSESSED."

"When an Irish author's work is adapted in Ireland and acted out by brilliant, notable Irish actors."

"Conversations with Friends is everything I dreamed it would be and more! I love it as much as normal people and that’s saying a lot!!"

"One episode into conversations with friends and I’m READY for my heart to be torn out, trampled on and placed back once again."

"What a terrific cast. The portrayal of introverted awkwardness by Joe Alywn and Alison Oliver v the portrayal of extroverted confidence by Jemima Kirke and Sasha Lane is so real and uncomfortable and engaging."

"Would you judge me if I told you I’d just binged watched all 12 episodes of Conversations with Friends?"
