Two convenience stores were robbed in as many days last week in the Loop, according to Chicago police.

In both incidents, three men in their late teens or early 20s entered the convenience stores and went behind the sales counter to grab items, Chicago police said. When store clerks confronted them, they pushed the clerks out of the way and fled on foot.

The first robbery happened about 1:20 a.m. Aug. 22 in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard, police said. The second one happened about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the first block of East Adams Street.

Anyone with information about these robberies is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8384.
