Convenience store robbed in Lincoln Park

A convenience store was robbed Thursday in Lincoln Park on the North Side.

About 1:50 a.m., a male walked into 7-Eleven, 1349 W. Fullerton Avenue, flashed a gun and demanded the clerk to hand over cash, Chicago police said.

He took money and packs of cigarettes, police said.

No one is in custody and no injuries were reported, police said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
