The Tennessee Titans reportedly agreed to terms with offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill on a two-year deal on Tuesday, but until now we did not have the specifics on his contract.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, Tennessee’s two-year contract with Brunskill is worth $5.5 million, with $1.5 million guaranteed and a $1 million signing bonus.
Brunskill’s deal includes base salaries of $1.08 million (with $500,000 of that guaranteed) in 2023 and $2.42 million in 2024, an annual per game active roster bonus of $29,411, and an annual playtime incentive of $500,000.
Brunskill will only account for a cap hit of $1.99 million in Year 1, with the number going up to $3.42 million in 2024, according to Over the Cap.
The versatile offensive lineman, who played at every position upfront during his time with the San Francisco 49ers, is expected to fill the right guard spot for Tennessee just as he did for the Niners in 2021, although a contract with an annual average of $2.75 million doesn’t exactly scream that Brunskill is locked in.

If Brunskill does turn out to be the starter, Tennessee is saving a huge chunk of money with their new right guard as compared to their old one after Nate Davis received a three-year, $30 million deal from the Chicago Bears.
Whether or not he can match Davis’ level of play remains to be seen, though, but this will look like quite the savvy move if Brunskill can.
Of the deals Tennessee has signed thus far, we’re still waiting on the specifics on offensive tackle Andre Dillard’s deal. We do know it’s for three years and $29 million, but specifics like the guaranteed money total have yet to be revealed.
