The Arizona Cardinals added three veterans to their roster in the final week of the preseason and before the season began. They signed receiver Michael Crabtree, defensive lineman Clinton McDonald and, after final cuts, outside linebacker Cassius Marsh.
With all the news since then, I had not seen all the details of their contracts.
Crabtree’s deal was reported to be one year, worth $3.25 million and up to $5.5 million.
Here are the details, per Over the Cap.
His base salary for 2019 is $1.75 million, which I noted last week from the NFLPA website. He was paid $500,000 to sign and will earn up to $1 million in per-game roster bonuses, getting $62,500 per game he is active.
He was inactive in Week 1.
There are also incentives of up to $2.25 million.
According to Over the Cap, McDonald’s deal is worth up to $1.25 million. He was given $120,000 as a signing bonus, will be paid $930,000 in base salary and up to $200,000 in per-game roster bonuses, getting $12,500 every game he is active for games.
According to Over the Cap, Marsh’s contract is a simple one-year contract with $1 million. He was paid $195,000 to sign and will be paid $805,000 in salary. There is no per-game roster bonus.
