Contract details for new Cardinals OL Max Garcia

One of several new additions to the Arizona Cardinals in free agency is offensive lineman Max Garcia. He is coming off a torn ACL and projects as a backup but he has starting experience.

His contract is reasonable, originally reported as a one-year, $2 million deal that could be worth up to $3 million.

Some of the details of the contract are in.

His base salary will be $1.1 million. He received a $400,000 signing bonus, according to Over the Cap. He will earn up to $475,000 in a roster bonus, based on the number of games he is active. According to Spotrac, he will get paid a $25,000 workout bonus in the offseason.

The total is $2 million.

According to Aaron Wilson, Garcia can make another $1 million based on playing time.

It is a solid deal for a player who is not expected to start but has done so in the past.
