Nightclub staff in hysterics at contents of handbag handed into lost and found

There's nothing like having to takeaway after a night out with your pals. For many it marks the end of a great night. Time to call a taxi and head home.

But staff at a nightclub were in hysterics when they found a handbag handed to lost and found. It seems the owner of the bag was one step ahead of everyone else.

Staff opened the bag in hopes of finding an ID card so they could contact the owner and safely return their bag. But when they opened it, the bag was full of chips.

A staff member at Atik nightclub in Wrexham, Wales, posted a video to the club's official TikTok account this week. The video showed the woman sharing the findings of what was in a handbag, Liverpool Echo reports.

She said in the video: "Okay so someone just handed this cute little bag into the bar. So I thought I’d have a little look and see if there's an ID in there or anything like that and it's just full of chips [laughter]."

TikTok users were loving the video and some claim they want the owner of the handbag to be their friend. One amused TikToker said: "Can you give her my number plz, this is my people." While another added: "You know some girls crying in the back of the taxi about leaving them behind."

Another user commented: "planning to use chip n pin instead of cash." It seems the owner of the handbag isn’t the only one who does this clever trick on a night out as someone said: "Last time I went out I stuffed 2 cheese burgers In my bag from mcds."
