Foodies in Edinburgh are always on the hunt for a new haunt and Damm Twenty Seven should be on their hit list.
Opening their doors this week, the contemporary bar and bistro is located in Newington at 27 Causewayside.
They have a menu you can feast your eyes on, offering a range of meat and fish dishes, including mussel pots, gourmet burgers and more.
Their small plates will not disappoint either and they cater for all, with a variety of vegetarian and vegan options also available.
The cauliflower steak with baby kale, sunflower seeds and piccalilli looks particularly delicious. Or, if you're are a cheese fan, why not try the spiced aubergine caponata with grilled halloumi?
For Damm'ed dessert, diners can choose from the champagne sorbet, sticky toffee pudding with a pear twist, crème brûlée cheescake or a selection of continental cheeses with house chutney.
They also serve a £12 brunch menu that includes waffles, rustic bread with smashed avocado, a full cooked breakfast and more, this comes with fruit juice and tea or coffee.
Dishes range from £6 to around £12 making it an affordable option for a classy date night, or a celebratory meal.
Aside from the incredible food menu, there is a drinks list that switches from daytime drinks, like Aperol spritz, to nocturnal tipples, with a number of cocktail classics.
There is also an extensive wine list, beers, whisky and spirits - basically this place has something for everyone.
Owner, Andy McCartney, said: "I am delighted to finally get our doors open and it's been a great project to be involved in right from the start.
"Damm27 is funky, intimate and contemporary bar that will serve great Italian coffee, classic old world wines, Champagnes and cocktails as well as a continental lager range.
"I am also genuinely excited to be working with our new Head Chef, Andy Keir, who has put together an incredible menu which is going to go down a storm.
"We are hoping this will be a great addition to the Newington area and the wider Edinburgh dining scene."
