Tottenham supporters were thrilled to see Troy Parrott score a quick-fire double for the Republic of Ireland in their 4-1 win against Andorra this evening.
The hosts took a surprise lead in the Estadi Nacional in Andorra on 52 minutes, but the Spurs youngster was on hand to find an equaliser moments later.
Parrott picked up the ball around 30 yards out before directly running at the opposition defence and finding the corner with a low strike - which marked his first goal for Ireland.
Just a few minutes later, he had his second, when the 19-year-old forward's downward header beat the goalkeeper and put Ireland ahead.
Spurs fans have been reacting to their striker - who spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Millwall and then Ipswich Town - scoring an important brace for his country, and even suggested he could be paving his way into Antonio Conte's plans, should the Italian take over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Parrott spent the previous campaign at two different clubs in the Football League to gain some valuable experience - and that is something he could do yet again when the 2021/22 season gets underway.
With the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura all available to whoever does take over at Spurs - regular minutes look very unlikely for Parrott at Tottenham.
Former interim manager Ryan Mason issued his verdict on the Dublin-born forward towards the end of last season, stating that the north London club have belief in his ability.
"Troy has gone out on loan this season and he's been exposed to something he's never been exposed to," Mason said.
"The club obviously believes in him, we believe in him. He's obviously had some difficult moments but that's absolutely normal. That's normal.
"I know Troy and I have a personal relationship with him of course but I'll be completely honest, my mind and my thinking is on a completely different group of players at the moment and I think that's normal."
